High Fives

It should be obvious by now that I’m not a professional…well…anything. Certainly not a food critic or sommelier or cicerone. I’m just an amateur who needs an outlet for her enthusiasm and passion. I enjoy molecular gastronomy and boxed mac ‘n cheese, some days I want foie gras and some days call for a hot dog.

Most of my friends are aware of my passion for being “in the know” when things are happening or opening around town. As such, I frequently get asked “where should I take my date/visiting friend/grandma for brunch/dinner/drinks?” I love playing concierge to my friends, but I often freeze when asked this question because there are SO MANY OPTIONS. I love this town.

In order to help me help my friends, here is a variety of lists that shouldn’t be taken too seriously and will probably change. These aren’t “best of” lists, these are “personal favorite” lists. Current Kate is trying to help prevent Future Kate from freezing the next time someone needs a recommendation!
